We are excited about the 3rd Annual School of Nursing Research and Scholarship Day on Wednesday, April 3rd. Join us at the Norman C. Nelson Student Union Upper Ballrooms as we continue to celebrate the research and scholarship of our faculty, students and researchers.

Keynote Address
Come join us as we hear from Dr. Kristy Chunta, professor in the Department of Nursing and Allied Health Professions at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Chunta serves as the doctoral program coordinator. Previously, she was the master’s program coordinator and assistant chairperson. She teaches clinical at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels. She has taught numerous courses specific to nursing education, such as professional role, curriculum, evaluation, informatics, technology, simulation, and pedagogy.
As an experienced scholar, Dr. Chunta has numerous publications, grant funding, invited presentations and oral and poster presentations at national and international conferences addressing various topics related to nursing education and leadership. She also serves as the online community manager for the American Nurses Association (ANA) Faculty Community.
